As our name suggests, TissuPath specialises in the diagnosis of disease from tissue specimens; this branch of pathology is often referred to as Anatomical Pathology or Surgical Pathology

The laboratory provides a full range of Anatomical Pathology services including;

• Histopathology
• Cytopathology
• Special histochemical staining
• Immunohistochemistry
• In-house DISH testing

The TissuPath laboratory is fully accredited by NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA).

We have affiliations with several large public laboratories and will organise other requested ancillary tests on your behalf including microbiology, biochemistry flow cytometry, cytogenetics or molecular testing.
