Dr. David Clouston Dr David Clouston, MBBS (Qld) PhD (Mel) FRCPA joined our Histopathology Division in mid-2006. His principal interests are in urologic, breast and gastrointestinal pathology, and as a result he presents regularly to clinicians and pathologists at local, national and international meetings. Prior to joining TissuPath he had clinical appointments at the Royal Melbourne and Alfred Hospitals in Melbourne and Melbourne Pathology (Sonic Healthcare), and was a Senior Lecturer in the Dept of Patholology and Immunology, Monash University.
Having completed a PhD investigating transcription factors controlling cell development, he is now seeking to identify quantifiable tumour factors which can be added to routine histopathology reporting to provide additional, clinically-relevant information regarding tumour prognosis and selection of appropriate treatment. Dr Clouston also holds an appointment in the Pathology Dept at the Austin and Repatriation Hospital. |
