A. Prof John Pedersen Associate Professor John Pedersen, BA (Oxon) MA (Oxon) MBBS (London) FRCPA PhD (Monash) is Head of TissuPath's Histopathology Division. Prof Pedersen is an internationally-recognized expert in uropathology and he has as significant research interest in the prostate and prostate cancer through collaborations with Prof Gail Risbridger at Monash University and other scientists. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed publications reporting original research. He has an active role in teaching pathology residents and registrars through an appointment at the Alfred Hospital. His major clinical interest and expertise is in urologic, gastrointestinal and dermal pathology.
